Egg Test
First class placed an egg in equal amounts of vinegar and water. We left the eggs in the different liquids for 24 hours. On checking them, we observed that the egg in water remained the same. The egg in vinegar had a soft shell. The shell changed colour, and we were able to erode it. Our class identified vinegar as being an acid as it softened and weakened the shell.
